So here is the basics. You write a post just like you normally would. that will be the “description”. For the product display, which uses the optional excerpt, You would put in something like below.

<strong>Wellness Just For Puppy</strong>

<strong>Price: $21.49</strong>
</center>

You’ll have to play with the image size as the different themes excerpts are different sizes.
They can always be changed in the css file though Once you get good at doing this it can be done very quickly. more quickly than using Custom fields IMO.
