1&1 has a deal going on .info domains.
I personally don’t use any but I know a lot of people who do. I don’t really have a whole lot more to say about, just pointing it out for anyone who may be looking for .info domains at a gret price.
You can check for domain availability below or just go directly to the 1&1 site.
Enjoy!

Well I haven’t been posting much. Not that it matters really, I only have 2 readers and one of them is me.
Anyway, I know I’ve blogged about how happy I’ve been with 1and1 in the past and it’s still a true statement. Other than the fact that their email support is pretty slow, (I’ve onle needed it once or twice in 4 years) they’ve been rock solid for me. Regardless, I’ll be switching the hosting portion over to Hostgator
The reason I’m switching is strictly a financial decision. I currently have two “Business” packages with 1&1 at $10 a month each. With Hostgator I can reduce that down to one package for 14.95 a month for all my domains with Unlimited bandwidth, which the 1and1 packages don’t offer.
Although I’ll be keeping my domains with 1and1 , just my hosting is moving. I think Hostgator’s sign up page is a little mis-leading. Yes it’s $12.95 per month, but only if you pay for 3 years up front at $466.00. And their domain registration is a little pricey… $15.00 as oppsed to$6.99 with 1and1. Plus they offer free anonymous registration which is nice.
The whole thing that got me even thinking about switching was this HostGator Review on Lord Brar’s Domain Tips blog.
Now I don’t by any means think that I’ve been ripped of by 1and1. I see all the haters posting everywhere about how they suck but my experience with them has been good. It’s all about the money.
So wish me luck! I’m on vacation next week so that’s when it happens. Hopefully it won’t be too painful a transition…

While I’m not in the habit of blogging about my aff sites, This is somthing that’s a little disturbing to me.
I have a Coupon Codes site, and have a special section set up for Mother’s Day. Problem I see is that the top Keyword searches that are bring people in include… “affordable”, “Discount, “Cheap” etc…
While thats my business, I find it a little disturbing that people are looking to cheap-out on Mom. I mean c’mon! How much money has she blown on your worthless ass over the last 20, 30 or 40 years? And by the way… If you’re 40 and still living with Mom, You need to first pay off her house then promptly remove yourself from the gene pool.
Spend a few bucks on mom this Mother’s day. What the hell is wrong with you people?

While I’m not exactly new to Affiliate marketing, I do often create new sites. Sometimes it may be for a niche that I just discovered and want to jump into to test the waters. Well… Along with this you need to sign up for those programs. Problem is, your new site has zero traffic and your application is declined. It’s happened to me a million times.
I know the site I have are relevant to the product, I have no offensive material on them so the last reason (which they usually lest out the possibilities in their denial email) is lack of visitors. My site is 48 hours old!
Today I got an email from a company for whom I am an affiliate but got jabbed again!
“Many of you operate coupon or discount code oriented sites. If you have a strong visitor audience, we are happy to create a special discount code for you, along with creative targeted for your site. You have only to request it.”
For the site in question I do get visitors. Not a lot but I’m working on it. It’s only 3 weeks old! And don’t you think that having an exclusive deal that isn’t on 4 million other sites would help get more visitors? I do.
Oh well, I’ll keep plugging along I guess. My plan is that one day, These guys will be coming to me asking me to join their program. I’ll save a copy of the generic rejection letter so I have something to send them in reply when they do.

Well I haven’t been updating this blog as often as I had planned. I’ve been very busy working on my affiliate sites lately.
Get Clicky may be old news to some but I just discovered it and I gotta say, it’s pretty cool. I’ve complained in the past about how Google Analytics reporting is off. And I’ve been searching for a new analytics solution for a while.
I just installed this on a few sites today so I’m gonna give it a week or so and then I’ll post a more thorough review. If you’re looking for an alternative to google though it’s worth checking out.
So check out Get Clicky or check back here in a week or two and I’ll put up a full review.
Maybe it’ll end up sucking. I just don’t have enough information to really talk about it at the moment though.
