New Site Update
Although I don’t have a lot to report, I thought I’d post an update on my new Pajamas affiliate site. As I said before, I started with one of my wordpress affiliate themes. I’ve spent the las tfew days picking colors and working on the graphics for the home page. Most all other images will be provided by the merchants so I don’t have to worry about those. The links obviously don’t work yet as I really have no data other than a few test posts.
I also got the product pages updated to use custom field instead of the excerpt so that will make it a little easier when I finally get around to uploading all of the product catalogs.
I think for the most part I’m done with the design, with the exception of some small details. Now it’s time to go searching through all of my merchants to see who has the stuff I’m looking for.
I think it’s turned out pretty nice so far but if you have any suggestions I’d be happy to hear them. I’m hoping to launch it by the end of the month. Then I can start my link building promoting etc..

I’m impressed by your ability to make these sites. As a newbie, I have a vague understanding of what you are talking about ‘custom’ or ‘excerpt’ but I’m wondering how you actually put these together?
Any chance you can go over the process from using your template and how you build a site? It sounds like you are using dummy images and links until you find products from merchants? I don’t know how that works. Any chance you can go over how you plan on using the feeds from Commission Junction? This is something I can’t quite grasp but if you can show it, I would be sure to catch on.
