Adwords Quality Score is Maddening

Well my blog isn’t completely set up yet but I’ll work on that over the next few days.

In the mean time, I thought I’d start off by beating a dead horse. I’ve seen this kind of stuff posted everywhere. Mainly because I’ve been searching trying to figure this mess out.

It seems no matter what I do, no matter my history on Adwords, I can’t get away from the poor rating from the Google Quality Score. Now I don’t know how accurate these SEO tools are but I always use seoworkers tool to check my pages. Here is what I got…

SEO Score

Relevant and everything, looks great right? Not according to google. I used the same key words in my ad as on my site, I’ve tried the < h > tag thing and every other trick I’ve read. All to no avail. I’ll start my campaign and minutes later they say, Increase quality or bid $1.00, I bid a dollar. Then they say Increase quality or bid $5.00. Okay, WTF?

So I thought okay, As a test, I’ll try another add group and let google tell me what key words to use. Surely I’d have to pass the QC test then right? Wrong!
Adwords
So Google says “Use these keywords, they’re relevant to your page” Then it’s screw you! Bid higher! Again I say…WTF?
I’m pretty close to giving up on adwords all together. I kind of like MS Adcenter. Even though the traffic isn’t as high as google, I’ve personally found conversions are better. Which is really all I care about. Ten billion impressions don’t do me any good if there are no sales.

I’ll try a few more things, if I can crack the QS code as far as what they like, I’ll post it here. If not, I’ll be leaving adwords. They make it so difficult, I wonder if they aren’t trying to drive out the little guys and target big business.
